register an athlete
To participate in the OGI Games, individual athletes, regardless of nationality, must meet specific criteria: they must be aged 9-21 on the first day of the games, classified as of Italian origin or affiliated with an Italian club/association, and registered with only one team. Non Italians cannot be club athletes. Athletes can compete in up to 3 track and field events and 1 swimming event, with restrictions on mixing sprint and distance categories. To register, complete the athlete registration form and submit it to your team along with the registration fee by the given deadline. For more details, refer to the current rule book in our resources page.

register a team
Any Italian based organisation such as an association, school or social club is eligible to become a team of OGI, subject to the committee approval. If you would like to enter a team, please register your interest by writing to the Secretary. A team should consist of at least 10 competitors of both sex and aged between 9-21 years inclusive (see 2.2 for eligibility of competitors). If your team has less than 10 competitors, then the Committee will give special consideration to your application.
